This new identity represents our commitment to honoring Lisa’s legacy while expanding our impact through youth support, community outreach, and scholarship opportunities.
🎓NEW: Scholarship Opportunity for High School Senior Athletes
We are excited to introduce a new scholarship programdesigned to support and recognize young athletes in our community.
Starting next school year, ANY High School Senior Athlete who attends or participates in the race will be eligible to apply for the Running with the Angels Scholarship.
Eligible students include senior athletes who:
- Run the 5K
- Walk the memorial mile
Our mission is to reward dedication, character, and community involvement — qualities that reflect both athletic spirit and Lisa’s legacy.
Scholarship details, application instructions, and award amounts will be shared at the event and on our official platforms starting January 2027.

This foundation was created in memory of Lisa Napoletano .
Lisa Napoletano was born May 12,2005 in Staten Island New York and moved to Jim Thorpe PA shortly after . She has two younger sisters Maria and Gabriella who looked up to her . Lisa was energetic and full of energy and strived to be the best she could be. She always tried new th
This foundation was created in memory of Lisa Napoletano .
Lisa Napoletano was born May 12,2005 in Staten Island New York and moved to Jim Thorpe PA shortly after . She has two younger sisters Maria and Gabriella who looked up to her . Lisa was energetic and full of energy and strived to be the best she could be. She always tried new thing and was looking for new opportunities.
Lisa had aspersions of being a lawyer when she grew up . She spend her summers travelling , at different summer camps and working and she spent her winters on the snowboarding slops. She worked hard for everything she wanted and had and she wanted to do everything. Lisa true calling was running track and cross country , which was a talent she found by accident and she feel in love with the sport.
On March 18,2020 Lisa was in a tragic ATV accident that took her life on April 5,2020 at the age of 14.
Lisa was a fighter and she was an inspiration to many and through her foundation we plan to keep her legend alive.
